I've got a Box set of Santo movies - four or five of the movies I think, that I really must get round to checking out as these films are Big Fun.

I haven't. There is only one release with English subs, and it's hard to find. One guy at Avmaniacs picked it up on Ebay. Got a hold of the seller, but that was the only copy he had.

Is that the Rise Above Entertainment box set?

SANTO is pure fun :D

I've seen SANTO & BLUE DEMON VS THE MONSTERS!! And it sure is great fun. It's available from "Santo And Friends" in the US and YES it's subtitled and YES it's a bootleg and YES the quality is really good and NO I don't give a rat's ass! As Fred Adelman always says (about himself) I'm not getting any younger and I'm not gonna sit around and wait for a legit release that never turns up. Btw, the Cyclops monster in the film was actually recycled from THE SHIP OF MONSTERS (1960), another fun Mex monster sci-fi flick. :D

No problem, Jared :)

Jack - I totally agree. But since there is a legit release out with subtitles I want it! And I'll probably search until I find it. I just can't help it :) Hehe
